ZBrush 4R7 Announced Posted almost 5 years ago by Simon Day - Posted in General

Yet another announcement we've heard about today.

Pixologic at their 2014 Summit have provided some more details on ZBrush 4R7, a free update for current 4R6 users (those that purchase ZBrush now will also be eligible for the free update when it arrives).

This latest version will apparently be the final version for 32 bit systems, and the last in the ZBrush 4 series for 64 bit systems too.

The biggest new feature that ZBrush have made public about 4R7 is their new collaboration with Luxion, the manufacturer behind the 3D rendering and animation software, KeyShot. They state that this partnership will allow for seamless interaction between both applications.

So far there are no official videos yet detailing what can be achieved with this new combination of software, but Pixologic have released some images for you to feat your eyes on.

There is no set release date, though expect more details shortly including information about pricing and the beta.
