Slip your shots in After Effects using media handles
Not only are your edits translated, your media is imported -- All the media referenced by your sequence. This means you can actually slip and trim your shots in After Effects!
Layer name maintenance, what you had is what you get
When you import your sequence, the layers in After Effects are named after the clips you had in your Avid or FCP timeline. No dealing with odd media file names.
Option to reference original R3D files instead of QuickTime proxies
If you're working with RED proxies in FCP but want to work with the R3Ds in After Effects Pro Import can save you even more time!
No duplicate media files
After Effects uses the same media files as your NLE, so no additional storage space is required.
