New Digital Anarchy Motion Graphics Plug-ins

Posted over 3 years ago by Paul Goodison - Posted in Plug-ins

Post Magazine reports from Siggraph 2009, that Digital Anarchy is releasing two new plug-ins for After Effects and Final Cut pro:

The Beauty Box is a plug-in for After Effects and Final Cut Pro, and smoothes out skin tones wrinkles and imperfections. The wrinkle and blemish removal works automatically on the footage and its effect can also be modified manually. Color correction tools allow for further enhancing of the skin tones.

Texture Animator is being previewed at the show. The tool is a video filter for creating backgrounds and animated textures using various fractal noise algorithms. Texture Animator has multiple layers of noise that can be mixed together and animated using various methods. It will ship with several hundred presets to make generating backgrounds easy.

An interesting announcement - Digital Anarchy previously sold its motion graphics plug-ins, which are now sold by Red Giant Software. A change of strategy, or revolutionary tactics, designed to cause anarchy...?

Coremelt Complete

Posted over 3 years ago by Paul Goodison - Posted in Plug-ins

Coremelt Complete is an exciting set of tools, and excellent value given its price range. Not our thoughts but pretty much those of most reviewers.

Coremelt Complete V2.2 Demos

On Ken Stone's Final Cut Pro website, Steve Douglas reviews Coremelt Complete set of plug-ins and concludes:

My bottom line is that CoreMelt has really come out with an almost complete package of effects that will leave you desiring little. While you can buy upgrades for any of the individual sets, I strongly recommend the CoreMelt Complete V2 Collection. CoreMelt has clearly made many improvements to what was already an excellent assortment of effects. They were easy to use, reliably worked as they should, and are very worthy of your consideration.

And recently Apple have featured Coremelt complete as their download of the day : Apple Final Cut Studio downloads

According to Coremelt this Staff pick at Apple, led to it being the most popular download for FCP! So its not just reviewers that appreciate Coremelt's capabilities.

The company itself has commitment to improve and have fantastic service to their customer - witness this Press release - not inly are all point upgrades free, but they also engineered changes to the product to ensure Final Cut Studio compatibility when it recently upgraded to Version 7.

Studio Daily commented on Coremelt Complete:

This Final Cut Pro plug-in package features a particularly dense and easy-to-use selection of filters and tools for the price

And a good outline once again from Oliver Peters has a great review (well worth reading)

On the whole, CoreMelt V2 is a great addition to the editor’s toolkit at a really low price.

So positive reviews, good company support, great value - what more could you want to add to your set of plug-ins?

See Coremelt Complete at a great price on AV3 Software, and give us your review.
