Well after news of Imagineer's August offer, a new point release for mocha and motor, and free training sessions at IBC, Imagineer also annouce their 2nd Annual Video Contest! Busy people!
Win free software! Create a video tutorial showcasing any Imagineer product. The winning video creator will receive over $7000 of Imagineer software!
The Imagineer Systems Video Tutorial Contest is open to everyone, and participants must follow these guidelines:
- Video Tutorial Topics: mocha, mocha for After Effects, mocha for Final Cut, mocha shape plug-ins, motor, monet or mokey. Topics may cover motion tracking, rotoscoping, rig removals, stabilization and can be designed for beginning or advanced users.
- Deadline: All entries must be submitted to Imagineer Systems by September 15th, 2009
- Format: Participants should use screen recording software, such as Screen Flow, Camtasia or ishowu;
- Files: Video files should be compressed for good viewing resolution in Quicktime H.264 format.

Imagineer Systems' August offer - Any customer who purchases mocha (full version) will receive free licenses of both mocha shape for After Effects and mocha shape for Final Cut. Simply purchase through AV3 Software and the licences will be sent to you.
New point release from Imagineer Systems
A maintenance point release will go out this week for all mocha products and motor that fixes:
• HDV formats are now imported at native resolution
• fixed: banding in matte preview window
• fixed: matte rendering when points are deactivated
• improved Shake .ssf format export
