Mocha - tracking not Choco-coffee?

Posted about 1 year ago by Paul Goodison - Posted in Software

I'm finding reading OliverPeter's blog DigitalFilms a worthwhile pursuit. It gives me a good overview of subjects in a very informative way; clearly explaining as he goes through. He has written for a long time for Videography magazine, and it shows. His focus is Final Cut however the ideas are applicable across tools.

In "A Little Mocha in your video", Oliver takes us through Imagineer's Mocha, and how it iontegrates with Final Cut and After Effects, and also as its stand alone, can be used with other tools like Avid.

The explanation of what Mocha is, a planar tracker, and how this can be of use in post-production allowed things to slot into place for me, so I understand what Mocha does and how to use it, despite the very good tutorials that Imagineer have.

Anyway go have a read
