Aardman and Primary School Children to make new animation

Posted 9 months ago by Paul Goodison - Posted in General

Aardaman know for Wallace and Gromit (and lots more) are to make a new animation with Primary aged children I just read (bit late) at the Independent:

The British animation company is working with the Tate Gallery to produce the first Tate movie – a 20-minute animated film drawn entirely by children aged between five and 11.

What a great idea! I hope they pull it off successfully.

I was quite shocked to discover that my daughter (in Year 8 now) was animating in Adobe Flash last year.

Excellent news for the industry that children are being encouraged to explore the use of this technology!
